Adepta Sororitas 7th Edition

Adepta Sororitas Tactical Summary as of 10-26-16

Adepta Sororitas formally known as the Sisters of Battle have been around the Warhammer 40k mythos for a long time. The Adepta Sororitas have a cult like following mostly do to the 3rd party cottage industry of models and Games Workshop unwillingness to ever release new models. Thankfully, it looks like things are changing a bit, with the Horus Heresy delivering plastic Sisters of Silence models, and the subtle hints popping up everywhere, something is brewing.

Currently though the Adepta Sororitas have been in a competitive limbo, as Games Workshop doesn’t release new models and muddles around with have ass rules for years now. Adepta Sororitas are stuck, they have no specialized Formations or Detachments and a limited model range. The best units Adepta Sororitas have can easily be substituted by other armies like the Astra Militarum or Space Marines. When you combo this with the high cost of entry the Adepta Sororitas rarely see the battlefield and when they do are usually regulated to an Ally force.

If one is determined to use there the Adepta Sororitas then you have a few options. St. Celestine is still a great choice, giving a Armies of the Imperium unit Hit & Run, with an annoying objective grabbing unit, that comes back to life. The Exorcist tank is also cost effective for long range damage. Priest Battle Hymns are still amazing and along with Adepta Sororitas Command Squad can deliver some amazing anti-psyker punch. Still, this makes things very hard to fielding a Adepta Sororitas army. Hopefully, in 2017 we will finally see progress when it comes to making the Adepta Sororitas a real army and faction again.

Below you find all the quick reference material you need to build an competitive or fluffy Adepta Sororitas army.
