Taking the Crimson Fists Bug Hunting + Happy Blow $#!& Up Weekend!

Gearing up for a great weekend that will mostly be spent outdoors.  Camping, boating and spending time with my fiance. So this might be the last update I have before next Tuesday.  Yesterday I played a game of 2000 points using one of the old ‘Ard Boyz missions from last year I had sitting in my bag with my Crimson Fists.  I haven’t played my Crimson Fists in a while.  But they’re a really fun shooty marine army I use.  I played Corey and his Tyranids.  We were both wanting to switch things up after the Bugeater GT.  So it was pretty great trying out new lists.  I used a list I had sitting in my bag that I think I made up over a year ago.  This is my list I use for my Crimson Fists.  You will notice though, I do pull a minor cheese in my Fists army by using Chronus from the Space Marine book and turning him into a Crimson Fists tank commander.  It sounds nastier than it really is though:

Pedro Kantor
3x Tactical Squads – Each with TLHB Razorback, 2x Meltagun 1x Plasmagun, 2x Missile 1x Plasma Cannon, Meltabombs, 2x PW 1x PF
(One of my Sergeants is Cortez, Guess which one)
Plasma Cannon Dread (Because nobody takes them and they’re fun)
Ironclad Dread in Drop Pod w/ 2 HK Missiles
5 x Assault Squad w/ PW, meltabombs and 2 x Plasma Pistols
5 x Sternguard w/ 2 Combimeltas in a Drop Pod and PF
Tank Commander Wafflestomper (Chronus) in a TLL, LC Sponson Predator
2 x Vindicator
I will have the battle report for this up next week.  I have 3 unedited battle reports to get done soon.  I had better keep up on them so I don’t fall too behind.  I think you guys will like the way this one ends up.  It was another hugely close game too.  Pretty much bugs getting splattered and the ones that didn’t bit into my lines like razor fanged ….well….Tyranids!
Everybody have a good 4th of July and don’t blow each other up.  In the meantime if you haven’t already.  Please follow my blog and subscribe to my YouTube channel.  Thanks!
