Between 4th and 5th edition Paul Dainton was the most prolific artists for Games Workshop. His art graced both Army Books and Codexes. You could even find it when ever you purchased a new box of units.

This easily made Paul Dainton one of the most iconic Games Workshop artists. His artistic style built on Blanche abstract sense, but added realism to the haze of battle. Paul's work usually focused on a central character with a dirty universe surround him. In Paul's art you can see the hand strokes of pen on paper this is a complete reversal to the digital art finally taking over the art direction for GW.
