At the time of posting this, I should be well on my way through the center of California on my way to Portland to the Guardian Cup, ITC Tournament hosted by Guardian Games.  This week’s posts have been leading up to this 50+ person event.

So for a reminder here is the list I am taking up.

TastyTaste’s Dark Angels & Sisters

As well I am making this trip together with some great friends and semi-competent players, I expect them to do well and part of my coverage will focus on their exploits.

Two members of Team Zero Comp will be joining me: Geoff “InControl” Robinson and Adam “Spam” Merlic. Geoff is taking patented Tyranids and Adam is almost equally patented Tau.

Here are the lists they are using for the event.

Spam Adams’s Guardian Cup Tau List

Anyway, check back to this very post, starting Saturday for pictures, insights, and probably Reece whining about how cheesy something is.

Round 1: got to play frankie from frontline and his multi wolf star list. I won 6-2. Thank god for priest and re-roll saves!

Adam and Geoff both won with 11 and 10 points each.

I won game 2 10-0 against decurion and fire base cadre.

Adam and Geoff lost both there games

I am sure I am going to get rocked next game by something 🙂

3-0 beat Alex Gonzalez one of the top necron players.

I think I am going to playing the top necron Itc player tomorrow!

Turns out I am playing Eldar instead nasty new list!

I tied my last game, but if I was thinking straight I should have gotten a bonus point I missed to bad placement.

The finals looks to be skattrii vs. non-decurion necrons! Should be fun to watch it my last game gets done fast enough!

Well I finally lost did better than I thoughT I would. I went 3-1-1 but was undefeated till the final round.

Geoff Robinson went 3-2

Adam Merlic went 4-1

I got beat by Ben Cromwell so he went 4-1.

Looks like the French overlord won the whole thing with his skattrii.
Here are some army shots at the tourney as well 😉
