Network News: A New Year, A New Look

Welcome everyone to 2014 and the new look Blood of Kittens. As loyal readers have noticed before, the site is update almost every year with a new look and features. This time around I tried to strip down Blood of Kittens to the bare necessities, the the most popular content, and what you the reader seem to want most.

I also went for a more professional look. Thanks to the impressive updates from WordPress, it keeps getting easier and easier to make a great looking webpage. Besides the good looks, I hope to get more content up at a faster clip. Looking back, 2013 was an interesting year, to say the least, from Lawsuits to Escalation I hope to redouble my efforts in 2014 to give you the amazing readers more!

2014 will be all about focus. It is easy to get distracted with life and trying to keep up with the Joneses, but this new year Blood of Kittens is all about content, not just a rumor gone the next day, but content  you can come back to a year later and still get something out of it. This doesn't mean Blood of Kittens won't tackle the biggest news stories, it just means, everything must have some overarching meaning, not just a single unrelated point in time.

The Wahammer 40k has changed a lot since 6th edition sprang forth, and many blogs have dithered, lost readership, or changed dramatically. Games Workshop has many hanging on their every breath; never in my time playing and covering 40k have I seen GW exerting this much control. As for Blood of Kittens I am happy to still be growing and provide an unfiltered look at Warhammer 40k universe, regardless of what scare tactics come this way.

As always don't be shy and I hope 2014 is as great for everyone as it will be for Blood of Kittens!
