Watching stocks over the short-term is often an experiment in futility. On February 25th 2015 we looked back at the state of Games Workshop's stock price and general financial health. In the last report, GW had a major stock transfer and special dividend pay out.

This post will look at two things. Just how GW stock has fared since its little stock swapping and make it rain moment.

Since the last report, not much has changed globally; progress with Greece is baring fruit and Russia is still being Russia. Whatever macro global trends really haven't had an effect on a stocks like GW.

Before we really dive in let us look at the last 30 days, and see where GW stands year-to-year.

As you can see GW stock is up almost 2% from last year; after the bottom fell out of the stock last year, GW has done a decent job keep investors happy, even with poor yearly results. It is at the point, where as long as GW keeps being profitable, and keeps paying out dividends the stock has no reason to any big hits, unless we see some major global event rock all markets.

Let us see how the stock has performed over the last month or so, and go over some interesting news.

As you can see the last month has the stock moving up another percent, but it could be higher as anytime GW stock gets some momentum it always comes back down. Still, the trend since the new year is clear: up.

The only news coming from the investor page over the last month is GW attempting to get employees to buy stock using the British unique Savings-Related Share Option Scheme where employees can invest in their company and get non-taxed returns. Beyond this listing we have Kevin Roundtree CEO buying some more stocks by investing the most recent dividend.

The only other news which will have possible future stock implications is a job posting for in-house lawyer.

It is another no resume just write a letter job, so technically you don't need to be lawyer just understand some "legal concepts". Since the Chapterhouse debacle and the probable sacking of their last head lawyer it will be interesting to see just how much fervor GW will apply to this lawyer in protecting the IP.

With the next bi-annual report still months away we will have to wait and see if anything can change the current course of GW stocks.
