Watching stocks over the short-term is often an experiment in futility. On March 23rd 2015 we looked back at the state of Games Workshop's stock price and general financial health. In the last report, GW tried to get employees to buy stock and went looking for a new lawyer for more frivolous lawsuits.

Is there any signs the rapid release schedule is having an effect on stocks, or do GW investors even know the company sells toys? Let us take a look at the stock to see if we can gleam any answers.

Since the last report, GW was up about half a percent from the year to date previous. The stock value has been hovering around this point since the big drop from early last year. If anything GW has crawled its way back to stability, but growth is a totally different story

Before we take a closer look at the last 30 days, let us see where GW stands year-to-year.

GW stock is now down over 8% from last year. The main reason for this is our last report was a snap shot close to the absolute bottom of the stock price, now we are at the point where the stock was doing pretty well in late last spring, before swooning again by fall.

What if we look at the stock over the last 30 days though?

Not as bad as 8% down, but still not too good at almost 3%. This trend should continue for the next couple months, unless something globally changes the dynamic. As it is we will have to wait for the bi-annual report sometime in June for some real fireworks.

In other news, Mrs. Kirby decided to buy some more stock. In of itself it is nothing special, but does reveal where the Kirby clan stands with their stock holdings in the company. They have over 2 million shares which accounts for about 7% of the company. I don't have to do the math, but you can see just how valuable GW is to the Kirby family.
