Last weekend, one of the larger GTs was held in Austin Texas known as BoLScon…WargamesCon…TaxasCon…WargamesCon, after a few years of 40k decline the guys from Frontline Gaming took control this year applying the ITC format and some West Coast swag. I had plan on going myself to BoLScon…WargamesCon…TaxasCon…WargamesCon, but work for once stopped me! It didn’t stop me from finding coverage and the top lists!

BoLScon…WargamesCon…TaxasCon…WargamesCon is a classic two-day five round tournament with around 80 players, which meant even with Swiss parings you could have multiple undefeated players.

The final four featured mostly well-known players with Ben Mohlie, Alan “Pajama Pants” Bajramovic, Nick Rose, and Mike McKinney.

The final parings looked like this.

Nick Rose Space Marines/Assassin (1) vs. Alan Bajramovic Daemons/Orks (2)

Ben Mohlie Necrons (3) vs. Space Marines/Blood Angels Mike McKinney (4)

Alan was able to beat Nick Rose and become champion and Ben beat Mike to take second place.

Now for what you are really waiting for the list details! Well here you go…

Alan Bajramovic 1st Place WargamesCon 2015

Ben Mohlie 2nd Place WargamesCon 2015

Nick Rose’s 3rd Place WargamesCon 2015

As for Mike McKinney list I wasn’t able to track it down sadly. I do have a rough idea of what it contained though, it doubled down on the Space Marine Gladius Strike Force to get free transports, and when I asked Ben Mohlie about the army he had this to say…

Battle company with BA primary. All five man squads, missile launcher devs, sniper scouts, 50-50 bolterback Razorbacks-Drop Pods. 35 units total i think, I killed 28 and there were still a bunch left!

If Mike or his friends see this post email me, so I can make a proper list and give him credit for the great showing!

Ok, once you stop being angry or finished placing an order for one of the lists above, there was more than just competitive 4ok going around at BoLScon…WargamesCon…TaxasCon…WargamesCon, and a few were able to chronicle it.

First was this great video taken of the event.

Then we have tons of pictures and commentary!
