Tits for Tournaments: Top ITC Tournament Lists July 2016

Warning

Tits for Tournaments is rated factually opinionated. Expect results, army lists, and some light bitching about boring spam lists to follow.

Before we get to the lists, click on the link below to see the past and future large events for the ITC 2016 Circuit.

Blood of Kittens attempts to provide continued coverage of ITC events in a post showcasing the top army lists from the largest events.

This particular post chronicles the big events for July 2016.

July saw quite a few events, just like last month a few events missed the cut to get GT or Major status.

The first GT of July 2016 happened in Delaware Ohio July 8th-10th, Buckeye Battles GT. It produced the following top three winners, keep in mind this event featured 2500 point armies!

  1. Aaron Aleong 1st Overall Buckeye Battles 2016
  2. Joshua Taylor 2nd Overall Buckeye Battles 2016
  3. DJ Timms 3rd Overall Buckeye Battles 2016

The next event was another GT in the Great White North of Canada, Wet Coast GT in Burnaby, BC, July 16th-17th, producing the following top three winners.

  1. Josh Meeks 1st Overall Wetcoast 2016
  2. JT McDowell-2nd Overall Wetcoast 2016
  3. Sean Porter 3rd Overall Wet Coast 2016

The same weekend also took us Down Under to Australia for a Major Event Wintercon, in Canberra. It used a comped system, so the lists had to fit a certain format, here are the event’s top winners.

  1. Matt Morosoli 1st Overall Wintercon 2016
  2. Tom Bailey 2nd Overall Wintercon 2016
  3. Jeremy J Martino 3rd Overall Wintercon 2016

Still, the same week had the big daddy, the BAO which has already been covered here, but once again these are the top three lists.

  1. Brandon Grant 1st Overall BAO 2016
  2. Matt Root 2nd Overall BAO 2016
  3. Andrew Ford 4th Overall BAO 2016

As if that wasn’t enough another GT happened in Salt Lake City the same weekend as the above events. Salt City Gladiator Games, in Farmington, UT had these three winners.

  1. Dustin Chesmer 1st Overall Salt City Gladiator Games Championships 2016
  2.  Ryan Polson – Imperial Knights
  3.  Adrian Sanders – Eldar

The following week of July 23rd-24th had one Major and two GTs. The first one was the legendary Team Tourney the ATC, now since this is a team event I won’t be posting any lists as they are heavily formatted to fit the team format.

Next we travel to England for the North West Open in Southport. This event had the following list of winners.

  1. Konrad Bartkiewicz 1st Overall North West Open 2016
  2. Dan Green – Space Marines
  3. Sean Canning 3rd Overall North West Open 2016

Finishing off the month of July was the Druzynowe Mistrzostwa Sl?ska in Poland, once again it became impossible to find lists to any Polish events, but you can bet competitive team members of the ETC participated.

We had a quite a mix lists winning in July, with the Eldar dominance holding steady after being eaten into for the last few months. August is going to have a large amount of events as well, with WargamesCon leading the way.

See you again here next month as we get a ton of more events added for ITC 2016 season!
