Commissar Yarrick
Commissar Yarrick is one of the greatest heroes in the entire Imperium. On Armageddon, it was Yarrick who inspired the Imperial Guardsmen to prodigious acts of sacrifice and courage. Indeed, so motivated were the soldiers in Yarrick’s presence that not a single soldier was executed for cowardice, even in the face of overwhelming odds. It was at Hades Hive that Commissar Yarrick fought his hardest battle, and where he lost his right arm to the snapping battle klaw of an Ork Warboss. Fighting through pain and shock, Yarrick beheaded the Warboss and took that same klaw as his own, a symbol of his defiance against the Orks.
This was a fun model to paint for a friend, mainly because i’ve never done an Imperial guard HQ. Plus it was easy, using simple colours to make it look good. Its been finished for two to three days now, and ive only just got around to uploading it here. So enjoy, hope someone gets some help with what this will provide.

All yellow trim on his uniform was accomplished by layering Sunburst yellow where i wanted it. This made it brighter and made it look more like something from the 40k universe.
