Here's a rule that came up in last game.  Also question from nearby players.

JJ typing, Morale; When to Test 40k6 pg 29 first bullet point

*Casualties: A unit losing 25% or more of its current models during a single Movement or Shooting phase must take a Morale check at the end of that phase.

[sic]

Next turn, the unit, now three strong, suffers a single casualty from a Dangerous Terrain  test in the Movement phase, which is now enough to for it to have to take another Morale check.

Context: Opponent moved Jetbikes onto objective which was in Difficult Terrain.  Lost one jetbike due to Danger Terrain test.  Informed about losing 25% and having to roll Morale.  He said that is for shooting only.  Was curious looked it up.  Moving and Shooting.  There's even an example.  This is a Huge rule to learn.  Imagine there are many players that don't run it in Movement.

Sweeping Advances 40k6 pg 27 first bullet point

*If the winner's total (Initiative + dice roll) is equal to or greater than the foe's, the falling back unit is caught by the Sweeping Advance and destroyed.

Context: Shawn's boy Aiden asked us this rule while we were playing.  His boys were playing Tau and Orcs.  There was a huge mosh pit of Orc and Tau involved in close combat.  Don't have the specifics where the question was coming from.  Off topic a little bit.  Orcs assaulted Crisis Suits.  Some 60 shots due to Supporting Fire were shot and only three 6's were rolled.  Damn.
