So the internetz has been afire with Lizardmen Rumours so my Cold Blood has been stirred again to the point of me seriously considering coming back to the Dinosaurs. Rather than delve too much into the rumours I'll just post the ones I am pretty certain of which are pertinent to a list I have in mind:
- Slann can take high magic (identical to High Elf spells) but with an attribute which allows you to discard a spell when cast and generate (randomly from an available lore) a replacement spell. So once discarded you cannot swap again unless generating from High Lore #OnceYouSwapYouCantDrop.
- Scar Vets are DOWN in points to 80 with same stats but have gained.....
- Predatory Fighters: Several units in the list gain this rule but it allows models to gain a free attack when ever they roll a 6 to hit in combat. Generated attacks cannot continue to generate more attacks ala Red Fury. The new Trogladon model can boost this to a 5+ rather than a 6+ when hitting.
So my idea for a list is pretty simple:
- Slann with toys on Lore of High
- 4 Scar Vets on Cold ones (100pts Each Naked on a cold one) (600pts total with equipment)
- 600pts ish of core
- Saurus Cav unit to act as a bus with a shiney banner of some form!
- Troglodon
- Remainder Estimated: 300pts worth of chaff, terradons, sallies etc
Slann hopefully rolls walk between worlds and hand of glory then discards one spell for wildform. Cast WBW on the #ScarBus (Patent Pending) to push it right up the guts and then cast Wildform on it! Troglodon then buffs the units Predatory fighters rule for bonus RAWR! That would mean a T6 1+ AS front rank putting out about 16+ str 8 attacks (Great weapons plus wildform). I realise this is all in theory but I'm #SoExcited!

600pts on the nose and possibly utter filth (or nonesense lol). What do you guys think?
