Is It Wolf Time?

Space Wolves players have been going crazy today as the first pictures of Krom Dragongaze appear in sneak peeks of this weeks White Dwarf magazine.

We do know what's in the Orks VS Space Wolves boxed set, as well as Warboss Grukk Face-Rippa and Krom Dragongaze!

40k 7th Edition mini-rulebook and campaign book, plus...

Orks:
Grukk Face-Rippa
5 Nobz
10 Grots
1 Runtherd
3 Killa Kanz

Space Wolves:
Krom Dragongaze
5 Wolf Guards
5 Grey Hunters
5 Blood Claws

But does that mean it's "wolf time" yet and that we get a new Codex and new models?

Well, based on previous trends, like the Dark Vengeance box, which heralded Chaos Space Marines and Dark Angels as the first Codex books of 6th edition, it's a very definite... Maybe.

Meanwhile, I will be definitely purchasing Krom, and then convert him once the new Space Wolves Codex is released.

Because a Frost Axe is a poor choice compared to a Thunder Hammer or Powerfist at this moment in time.

Frost Weapons need to be corrected and I won't be modelling any Wolf Lords until the new Space Wolves Codex is in my paws.
