Wolf Brothers! The Space Wolves Codex will be available to pre-order this Friday. Someone has taken a few snaps of this week's White Dwarf and shared them online.
It's really not the best cover art in the world.
But when the special edition versions of the Codex cost between £110 and £150, I personally will not be shelling out for them.
I could buy a whole frickin' Space Wolves army for that!
Anyway...
Here's the first glimpse of the new "Murderfang" Dreadnought character with Murderclaws, Murderlust and a whole lot of murder.
I have no idea WHY he has a baer human head. Honestly, it's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. But hopefully I can use that bare head on another Space Wolves model? But his trophy wrack and claws are amazing.
Absolutely loving the rest of this miniature. Hopefully he'll be worth his points, because my list needs a Dreadnought in a Drop Pod that's going to seriously kick arse.
This last one... it looks a bit silly. I think it's the runes against the massive flat areas of no-detail on the axe and shield that bother me the most.
But what I've seen of the bits that make Bjorn and Murderfang, I'm really loving the Space Wolves Dreadnought kit overall.
Naturally, I shall be magnetising mine so that I can switch between Bjorn, Murderfang and a regular Dreadnought as I see fit.
And naturally, it will be covered in all the fur pelts and all the bling that come with the kit.
