Okay, above is the color palette for the male & female wolf's fur and below is the process...

I do a bit of under shading with the darkest colors and the pinks to deepen shadows and add tonal variation...

I'll start with the male wolf first. Start to mix and work up these colors and overlap your brush marks and let them show to suggest a fur like texture in places.
 Now we shade and glaze with these colors...

Same process fro the female wolf...

So that is the fur done. Pretty hard to do actually. I am okay with the results, but would have liked to have taken another stab at it. Still a good overall effect.
