"There's plenty more where those came from..."

The Asura Roten box contains enough parts for three miniatures which count as one model for gaming purposes...namely Asura Roten. It also contains a stat card for her though there are no upgrade cards.

Asura Roten - Sprue
The box has one sprue in it as well as the aforementioned card. Here's pictures of both sides of it...

Asura Roten - Stat Card
Wyrd Games didn't like my publishing pictures of both sides of the stat cards so you'll have to make do with this...

Should there be any assembly issues with the model then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures or instruction pictures by clicking on them.

Asura Roten - Instructions

Some General Notes on Assembly
Many of these models contain quite small parts so depending on how dexterous you are you might consider getting yourself some tweezers. Dry-fitting is also always a good idea in case a part needs a tiny bit of extra filing or filling as some of the fits are quite tight. Where the parts on the sprue are quite thin (chains, weapon shafts, cables and the like) then it might be better to remove parts with a sharp scalpel rather than cutters.

Asura Roten - Assembled
The cobblestone effect on which the models are based were created using this tutorial HERE.

The set consists of Asura Roten pointing the way for two Mindless Zombies and these can be arranged on the base in any way you see fit. I've opted to assemble the set basically the same as the box indicates as Asura pointing the way for the zombies seemed logical enough though you may have something else in mind. Assembly tips start below this first set of assembled pictures...
Asura Roten - Her arms are fairly thin but have decent location points so attachment is not an issue. Her head has a tiny raised piece below the scarf that slots into an indentation on the neck part of the body to align the pieces.
Asura Zombie One is labelled as '1' on the sprue but '2' on the Instructions - It's not a difficult assembly as such but has many more parts than seems strictly necessary. Just be systematic and you'll be fine.
Asura Zombie Two is labelled as '2' on the sprue but '1' on the Instructions - Add arm, add head, done. It's really that easy.

Thoughts and comments are (as usual) most welcome
Should you ever choose to purchase something based on one of my features or reviews then it would be nice if you could let the company know where the inspiration came from...who knows...they might be grateful to the poor unappreciated blogger who sent you their way...if however I've put you off a product...well...you can keep that info to yourself...
