Well, lets see if it will be convincing.
Lets see what you say after today's update.
For the base I sculpted the platform from standard water-based clay, let it dry "leather hard" and then created some silicone molds for casting.
The advantage is that sculpting with water-based clay (at least for me) is faster, and as long as I won't let it cure completely, I can re-water it and make it usable again.
Once the molds were cured I poured the platform using my tired and true "Stewalin" plaster.
The pillar looks a bit unsteady, but that's OK.
With some of the leftovers I positioned some rock debris on the platform.
Once the platform was done I started to position the "stash".
Lots of coins and gems.
But I also realized that the sword is too short, so I had to add some more rock debris for the sword to rest on.
Once this was settled I sculpted the hand holding the sword.
After baking the hand, the SuperSculpey sculpting was completed and I switched over to using GreenStuff for the details, starting with a first flame for the "crown" as well as stating the left foot.
Here is now the completed crown.
Next was the shoulder armor using (dragon) scales as material.
Here you can see the completed left foot.
Then I used some ProCreate that I had previously rolled over some crumpled aluminium-foil to create leather bracers.
I also added some goblets and jewlery to the top of the broken pillar. In addition you can see some flames in the foreground that I will use for light sources.
Over the next few days I sculpted her chest piece, gauntlets and chains (it always takes 3-6 hours for the GreenStuff to cure safe to touch, so I can always only sculpt some small pieces and then wait)
I think the pose looks a lot more convincing now, doesn't it?
And the last detail was the ornament for her thigh.
I still have to sculpt the ornament for the other thigh, and then I will finally have to tackle the skin for the wings...
