Wasn't something supposed to happen in August?
I thought we mentioned something starting with K? Ok, ok, we're running a little behind, 'but' we're still working on making it happen so there's a good three and a half weeks before we have to pretend we said September and hope nobody notices ;)
To distract you in the meantime we have a pretty damn awesome 54mm figure from Kev, 3 new Norse-themed fantasy figures from the incredibly talented Tre Manor, the Goblins have realised they have to do something or be outnumbered by the Dwarves, there's a number of restocks following our recent downtime for remoulding things 'and' we have some Sal-designed tattoo decals! *whew*
Distracted enough yet? No? Ok, let's try some giant pretty pictures!

Back to the Velvet Underground
(Heh, obscure subject header alert!)
Those of you following our recent newsletters and updates like thiswill know that the last couple of months have involved some serious upheaval at HF Headquarters. One major part of which is Kev moved his sculpting studio from the office to a spare room of his home. This put him further than arms, and more importantly, shouting, reach from me and for the couple of weeks it took to set up properly including computer and mic etc. he was basically left to his own devices.
When you leave Kev to his own sculpting devices you literally have no idea what he's going to come up with :) Thankfully, this time, he has clearly been subtly influenced by my repeated, and totally manly, use of the word 'pretty' in recent months and has created one of the prettiest things he's ever made!
'Gypsy', or Princess Llana (as I was overruled on so have snuck into the text instead, shh), is Kev's third 54mm figure and what an entry into the category. Smooth lines, defiant pose, amazing character, it's so good I'm fighting the urge to make a short joke just to stop Kev 's head from swelling too much!
One thing to keep in mind right now though is the first batch of Gypsy's available will be slow to come out as we're still in the process of making production moulds for her 'and' they will include a second, fantasy, weapon option for the left hand that we don't yet have photos of. They'll come as soon as we can manage it but you are welcome to purchase them now to get to the front of the queue. I'll update her individual page when she's fully in production and there's no more wait.

Invaders from the North - Jholkar
Jholkar of Bolverk is the newest addition to our Fantasy Humans. Dynamically posed and armed with bastard sword, throwing axe & long knife he comes dressed in the style of the Northern barbarians.
We're hoping he won't be the last Norsemen to appear on our release schedule so keep an eye in the future for some of his friends ;)

Invaders from the North - Hanna
Hanna of Vil, or Vilhanna in the naming style of her people, is a more classic barbarian female. Armed with axe, shield and long knife.
Almost an homage to the barbarian women of 80's movies!

The Wolfkiller, Old Holvand
Woldvanger, as he was known in his younger days, is now named for an infamous lapse in judgement which resulted in a lot of dead Wolfriders and a serious injury to his casting hand. Still a force to be reckoned with, this old mage now keeps a lower profile as a bit of a wanderer.
People have been asking for a more classic wizard from us so hopefully this will fill that gap :)

Goblins Aplenty
So we have reduced the price of these 'and' made them available in a full unit pack of 20 at an even further discount!
We'd really like to round out our Fantasy ranges to make them usable as cohesive forces. So with that in mind I've started a thread on our Facebook page for ideas and suggestions from you lot. All ideas are read and digested :)
(We 'may' end up pricing the Dwarves in a similar fashion as the current price is cutting it a bit close so if you want to just grab a few Dwarf multipacks now would be a good time while we're deciding :) )

Decals from Sal
Now we're totally onboard with Sal getting more rest now that I'm sat in the big chair but let's not go overboard! :)
Firstly Sal 'made' Hasslefre, like from scratch, so there's no way we're letting that disappear into a black hole of motherdom and daytime tv and secondly, as not enough of you know, she has a huge artistic skillset that between her illness, running a family and making sure Hasslefree didn't catch on fire she's not really had the time to utilise in recent years.
This is her first, but not remotely the last, foray back into that skillset. The first two sets of Tattoo Decals designed by Sal in 4 different colours
Let us know on our Facebook page HERE if there are any specific genres or styles of tattoo you'd like to see next or colours we don't do (green will likely be added fairly soon but are there any others you'd like to see?).

More Restocks
With our remoulding and re-organising finally coming to an end we are seeing most of our minis come back into stock now. Just a few notable exceptions that are almost finished.
Recently we saw a few minis slip out of stock while awaiting their new moulds but now we are happy to say they are back and in full force.

And Finally...
My wife, Jenn (Mrs Black) is currently in Norway, making us a man down for the week. Everything is under control but just in case we get a particularly busy day along the way we would very much apreciate it i you remembered this lil tidbit of information :)
We're also waiting on her return to do the next step in the K word. We need an extra pair of hands for it. I know this is just one long tease but I figure it's better than just not mentioning it at all right?
We're very much hoping that next newsletter will see another 3 new Kev releases for HF but we're at the mercy of a backup at the casters right now. Cross your fingers! We should also have a few new Resin Masters including this beast of a man and some more accessories to add to our fast-growing range.
'Til next time,
Arty.
