So Turn 1 of the Campaign has been resolved and over the next month we will fight out the battles:
So some exciting first turn developments! Jason has invaded Dermot, Andy and gary have invaded the same territory and Scott has invaded a special territory which mike has raided....
Mike and I have resolved my first invasion so I now control one more territory (31 purple fens)!! I didnt manage to continue the ogre migration so my special invasion halted! we actually played this game 3 times over a small town on a 4ft board! was a lot of fun but ogres are filth at 600pts lol! I forgot to roll my special rule to generate extra gold so will roll this on saturday :)
Gary/Andy, Mike had a good idea that since you have both invaded the same territory you play a 3 way triumph and treachery game: TK vs CD vs a third indigenous army? if not then you two fight each other for the territory! Winner gets the territory and the opening blow!
Dermot and Jason you two need to battle it out to defend dermot's home turf! winner gets the territory!
No one has invaded mike so he will remain the owner of the Jewel of a thousand suns for this turn at least.....
Scott has taken the (bold) decision to invade The Fungus Forest...... (surprising considering you hatred of shrooms!)...............
The Fungus Forest is a dark and foreboding wood, home to many devilish denizens such as the multitudinous goblinoids and terrifying squigs! Thousands have lost their lives foolishly treading the dank paths concealed by the impenetrable forest canopy, the stink of mould and death rife in the air. Still the prizes to be gained by daring the depths of the forest can far out weigh the risk.
The Fungus Forest is a special territory defended by an indigenous population of Squigs and Goblins. In this scenario the entire board is counted as a Fungus Forest (All units suffer from stupidity and goblins/squigs are stubborn and have the poisoned attacks special rule) but it does not block line of sight or cause dangerous terrain tests. Please place normal terrain. Treat the battlefield as a clearing in the forest but the spores in the air cause stupidity etc. Place terrain as you normally would but avoid buildings if possible.
