Well my old man has been busy, we now have a new old Vintage kart, from I believe the late 1960s.  We actually have two new old karts, but this is the only one I'm showing at the moment.  This thing was a scrap of hacked up junk when we got it.  Its been completely rebuilt by my oldman, alot of tubing had to be replaced, as some redneck had tried welding crap to it and cut off some of the original tubing.
Like all of our vintage karts, he has added the front porch with the bumper uprights.  We like our feet and ankles, most all of these old karts had nothing to protect your feet.  This kart will be one that we
plan to run in the historic classes.  It will still get upholstery over the bare metal seat pans.  The steering loop will get a ball buster pad put on it.  No brake work has been done yet.
I think the wheel color works with the pearl orange powder coat.
Dual McCulloch engines on alcohol is what we plan to run on the kart.  These are a couple of my spare engines to mock up.  We have 6-McCulloch 250 saw engines that I run.
The final engines will probably be a pair of Mc6 engines.

I can't wait to drive this thing, should be a really nice handling kart.

The oldman was also busy finishing up his newest custom motorcycle, below are the tanks, I think his flames really turned out nice.  This is prior to the final coats of clear, this actually at the point of what we call color sanding which in reality we are wet sanding the clear with 1500 to 2000 grit paper to get everything smoothed out.
Next weekend we start the building our new modern oval track karts, the Vendetta Mk 2.
