So I am doing some painting this week while alternating between reading for school, reading for fun, and doing some writing (in part for the Black Library open submission window), and in going through my bits boxes, I figured it was a shame to waste such yummy Chaos odds and ends.

So I decided to do some Word Bearers at the same time as working on my Emperor's Spears. I even found a striking, easy way to do their armor.

Then, being a good nerd, I came across the rumors article on BOLS discussing the future of Chaos in 40K whilst enjoying my morning biscuits and sausage gravy.

"Well, of course I still need some basic marine troops, so I can just paint some of them," I thought to myself.

"But what if they do something really neat, like Finecast chapter-specific shoulder pads? Or even redo marines generally? Or completely make whatever I paint/buy/dream-up completely useless?"

And just like that, I decided to wait and not buy that box of Chaos terminators.

"I've got plenty to paint already, and this way I can get the newest, coolest stuff."

My wallet heaved a sigh of relief--the dog content that I will finally get him to the vet for his shots--and through the warp the suits at GWHQ silently screamed "See, that's why White Dwarf doesn't go out early anymore."
