STORY: GUARDIANS OF THE GATE; A BASIC INTRODUCTION

   My own chapter the Guardians of the Gate is currently under construction. I have decided on the color scheme and basic chapter organization. I also defined the general plot and some short stories about their quest for the pieces of the gate.
   I written the short story: The Lost Journey of Aurelous, a story about the thousand pieces of the gate lost to the chaos in the warp while being transported to Terra for the Emperor to examine them.

3 primarchs? 3 chapters? How is that possible? Well it is. I have an explanation for all of them and it will all be explained in good time. So be patient and don't rage.


Anyway here's the details about the insignia:

   Some guardians of the gate wont consider themselves as Imperial and see themselves on a bigger quest than serving the rotten Imperium warmachine, which is finding the pieces and destroying the gate once and for all.
   Hence some guardians don't paint their insignia representing any aquila or Imperial related sigil in
the shining gold instead leave it black to show their protest and their difference to other space marine chapters.
   But some still holds bonds with the wider Imperium and proudly paint their insignia in shining gold.
   Some guardians go so far and don't have any Imperial sigil or iconography on their armor as an open protest but these are few and don't approved by both parties in a good manner.
   But in all sense guardians are a chapter that are counted as an Imperial adeptus astartes chapter in the record of Adeptus Administratum and get supplies from Imperial forgeworlds and fight beside Imperial troops including other astartes chapters.
   Their secret quest arouse suspicion during such campaigns, including clashes with some Inquisition agents.

About the 15 year celebration: I had some rough time over the past days so I didn't had time to blog the celebration, I think they might be releasing a Celebration Ebook after these short stories so I would blog that, I will make an exception about Aaron Dembski Bowden's story because that guy deserves it.
