I'm taking a small break from 40k until 6th edition is out, but have continued to paint and assemble my Cryx army ( even got a 15 point game in last week )as well as strip the paint from my tyranid army.

Cryx is going well and I love the models! I wasn't a fan of metal , but after dealing with finecast I'm glad to build these guys. Very little flash by the way.

I have started a Legion of Everblight army as well, but having a hard time picking a paint scheme. I'm not all that into the white base, but I'll see with a few test models. So far it's looking like a black base coat with a grey look vs the white and brown. Who knows though.

My Nid paint stripping is going well. Last model was done yesterday. The best way I have found removing the paint was 2-7 days of complete immersion in non diluted purple power.
Some staining from white and red paint, but a new coat of primer takes care of that and no loss of details.
Reminded me of a Tyranid reclamation pool

Hope the new edition allows me to run the 5 carnifexs again. I love the models and would love to see them as vanguards and shock troops for the rest of the army.
