Above, you can see my Swarmlord stand-in. Here are my objectives:

That's one Swarmlord, three tyrant guard, five objectives, one tyranid prime, six broodlords, and one-hundred fourteen genestealers. All of which involved conversion. And I have a scar to show for it!
Sure, I spent a few weeks building the models and puzzling over color schemes, but the entirety of the army took a mere four days of work: Two days last weekend, and two days this weekend. That includes a re-energizing trip to a wolf preservation.
I have yet to see Prometheus, but I think I have sated my Alien nerd-dom for the time being. I look forward to trying the models out on the battlefield, but then I think I should wait for 6th Edition.
Thank you to all the people who helped me with the brainstorming, building, and painting phases. Without the help and input of others, this project would not have come together as quickly, or to the standard, that it did.
