Winter is firmly upon us people, and that can mean only one thing......

The Karnage Kup (Fantasy) is once again ready to rumble!  And my twin dragon high elves have already taken to the tables.....

My local club, which attracts 30-50ish people every week and considerably more when all the university students return to the Lincoln area, has an annual tournament for both Fantasy and 40k every year for club members.  The attendance for the tourney has been a bit down this year due to 6th edition, a 40k campaign starting at the same time, and the fact that only half of our members 'play to win'.  The other half 'play to have fun'.  I do both!  In fact I may hoin in this 40k campaign after the tourney.....

It's 2400 points and run during club nights over 3 rounds.  No restrictions this year as the TO wants a different 'feel' to the tourney, 5 points for a win, 2 for a draw and zero for a loss.  The decider is a bit novel, as you get 'kill points' for every enemy model slain.  That's right, every model.  So if you kill 4 empire handgunners and the rest of the unit is still alive at the end of the game, you get the points value of those 4 models.  This is to make some real Karnage, and to deter any denial lists and conservative play.

We have two weeks for each round, so I only know of 6 games so far and I don't have the first round results, but I can do a report on my first game.

I was drawn against last years winner!  Eeeek!.....

To be continued........
