Hey guys! So I have been working on my next 2500pt Ogre list and here is what I am planning on using in 2013, it is by no means the best possible army but I want to take something that will look great on the table and be a lot of fun to use. I think the Army will look great (two huge monsters, a big unit of maneaters and the flying bruiser) and work pretty well too. 2 Big stubborn combat units will cause massive headaches for opponents, the flying bruiser hunts down enemy flyers/wizards/chaff, the gnoblars re-direct and cause trouble and the mournfang and stonehorns will smash stuff up. The stonehorns are pretty resilient to cannons and as they are fast they will get across the board quickly. There are so many threats that I don't know if my opponents will know what to deal with first. The only thing that I would have liked to have included would have been some more magic items on the BSB bruiser (magic res 3 would have been brilliant!) and an Ironblaster but I don't know what I could drop or down grade without compromising the list. Let me know your thoughts!
To get this army up and running I need to paint a flying bruiser (I have a cunning plan for this model!), another stonehorn (his name will be Horny to match Stoney!), 8 maneaters and 10 more gnoblars so not too much but loads of fun (well except for the gnoblars!). I have collected each of the Games Workshop Maneater models so this unit will look great on the table with tonnes of character!
