So on Saturday I decided on my list for a next few months and need to finish painting 4 maneaters, 4 Ironguts and a mournfang. My aim will be to finish the maneaters and the mournfang for the 19th of Jan and definitely by the end of the month:

So the first maneater I am going to paint is the Transvestite Ogre who I was inspired to paint after cleaning my home listening to Queen I want to break free. Also after a wee chat with Gareth off the Bad Dice Podcast (@PurpleHuskey) he agreed to allow me to name this lovely model after him. The model even uses a massive baking rolling pin as a weapon so it fitted perfectly! I'm going to paint the dress purple and pink and the unit to which he is attached will be called "Gareth's Maneaters", quite apt I hope. I am hoping to have them painted in time for when my mate Jamie comes down for the weekend with his empire army so that the can go on a very camp man hunting excursion. They will be using the Scout and poison rules, ready to ambush the unsuspecting men with cupcakes (which unlike Gareth's are poisoned!). Quite silly I know but hopefully will be a laugh!
