Two nights ago I finished the second objective marker of the set, but I did not get a chance to post it yesterday. Last night I finished up the third objective, so I figured I would share them both today.
First up is the ammo cache:
Once again I went with a rush job on these objective markers, as I’m actually in the mood to paint some Ogres again, so I wanted to get these done quickly. Plus, as I said before, these aren’t going to get too much use, so why spend too much time on them.
The spare parts:
The ammo cache lacks any bright bits, other than some shiny bullets. I made sure the spare parts marker did have some colour, with the screwdriver and the mug. There are also the blue parts (I considered making them red, since I am running Khador and not Cygnar, but decided to just leave them similar to the box art), but I didn’t add any highlights to them.
As usual over the last many months, I’m fond of how they turned out. I clearly did not give them the love that others might, with highlights and stuff, but as per my MO I let the washes do the work. Does that make me a lazy painter? Maybe, but I’m a gamer more than a hobbyist, so if I can end up with tabletop quality models without the time input, I’m quite happy. They are going to look just fine on the table, I am sure.
That’s it for today. Look out for a Workbench Update on the weekend and see what’s coming up next.
Thanks for reading.
