How about that generic non-copywrited name?  It is awesome.

After a long weekend, the real rules are finally starting to come out for the Severe Weather Sharp Claw and its larger cousin Severe Weather Black Bird.  I should probably trademark these awesome names!

At any rate, I hardly see these models on the table in 6th edition.   But with the release of these new rules, will they finally see the table top?  Well check the rules out for yourself and be the judge.

Here are the links to those rules...  As an aside, they are on a not approved for work website.

I would save the image before it gets pulled.

Note that storm strike missiles are Strength 8 AP 2 which is different from their blood angel cousins.

I will say I really like the idea of a Severe Weather Sharp Claw with just the basic load out.  For 125 points, you roughly get a flying rifle dreadnought which is pretty sweet.  It is an even swap which makes it even better.  The lascannon and typhoon missile launcher variants are still too expensive for my blood.  However, that is where the Severe Weather Black Bird comes into play, especially with power of the machine spirit, loads of missiles, multi-melta, and a lascannon.  Yeah, it is a tad expensive for anti-air, but they are now a valid option to fight off the droves of heldrakes now on the table.

So who plans on putting these models into your bike lists?  I for one am considering what this change means to my army!
