Above are some Clawed Fiends moving through the green textures.  I wanted an unnatural ... almost Warp Born appearance for the fur and then some fleshy (seen to the left) contrast to make it pop.  These are from the initial run of the new figures and are solid metal.  This makes them a bit unwieldy and I did not modify the pose although in retrospect I should have modified one of them since the pose so dynamic.

The fiend above is prior to top highlights and water effects.  The water effects need to be added at the end after all of the spray coatings are finished and it takes a few days to build the depth clearly.

Work is also progressing on this Dark Eldar Objective Marker/Army Standard.  Its a complex kit from Raging Heroes (Alariel and Alaniel)  that features 2 slave girls holding an enormous flag.  The girls are intertwined and I'm painting them as I assemble them.  Here you can see the first bit of it in place mounted on a Blasted wetlands 60mm base from Secret Weapon.

The whole Army is using this basing scheme and its fairly easy to add to them where needed with white pumice. For example the Razorwing flocks really can use the reinforced mountings that are incorporated in the standard bases so I've built some Basted Wetland style textures onto the standard base to accommodate this.  Add some water effects and they should blend in nicely.
