Spring is a pretty common time for me to get off my ass and actually run an event for my local 40K community. After tossing around ideas with my teammates at Adepticon, I stole one of Adepticon's themes and decided to run a 40K Friendly.What is a 40K Friendly you might ask? Well, it's a day to get together and throw some dice, have some laughs and show off your hobby talent. While the games themselves will still have the element of competition, we're removing the emphasis on competition for the day and are shifting the focus to fun lists, great attitudes, and pretty armies.
The ultimate goal of the event is to bring players together and meet new people and hopefully expand our playing group a little bit. If you don't have a painted army, don't let that deter you from coming and having a great time.
