Welcome back to my series on the next army I'm making; Post-Heresy Emperor's Children. So far we've gone through HQ (Lord), Troops (Noise Marines and Cultists) and Fast Attack (Spawn). Next up in this series is the Elites section which will include Chosen. As mentioned in previous articles in this series, the Chosen will be the eldest units in my army, and so need to look the part. So let's get to it! After the jump we'll dive into the parts I'm using for these guys.
Their bodies seem to be the best place to start. For these guys I'm going Forge World. Had I been going for 1500 or more points in my list to start I would have probably found a cheaper route, but since my list is so small I'm going big:
And, of course, shoulder pads:
Which in my head will translate to something like this (even though I believe this is MKIII armour, but you get the idea):
As for their weapons, they'll have some melta and plasma going on which will translate in my purchases to the following:
As for the Champion, he'll be wearing all the same, but I'm thinking about a robe or something to this effect minus the helmet:
He will of course be toting a combi-weapon:
