It been a busy week but I have managed to fit some games and painting time in, here is what I have been up to...
My Veer-myn took to the battle field in a 1500 battle against Tom Prout's Corporation and a couple of squads of my Enforcers. After some really tragic activation tests on both sides the overwhelming numbers of Veer-myn surrounded the Corporation forces as they huddled together in the center of the board, after being doused with chemical fire the few remaining marines surrendered.
I also played a couple of Dreadball games at home when I was visited by the infamous Hendybadger who also brought along his very nice (and shiny) acrylic pitch. I managed to lose with both the Veer-myn and Forge Fathers while Hendy's Judwan skillfully danced around my players scoring with ease. I clearly need more practice at this game.
I also managed to get started on the painting for the Forge Fathers and Marauders I am making for my two sons. I even got some help from my youngest!
I got a little more done to my Veer-myn too, another Crawler section and Nightmare team almost finished.
Mantic seem to have taken over my hobby at the moment but they make such nice games it isn't really a surprise, is it?
