So last night after WEEKS of building and assembling I finally got back to doing what I enjoy most: Painting!! Stayed up silly late last night to finish my savage orc great shaman (Wurzhag). Really happy with how he came out but the basing needs something else (maybe a small rock or different coloured tuft). Particularly happy with how the cloak came out and the wee mushrooms growing in the staff! Anyway let me know what you guys think.
In other news I have assembled, based, magnetised and spray 240 models...... This tool near as damn it all weekend and my house stank of spray paint(was nearly executed by my girlfriend!). This means that I am pretty much on target for winter war 2013 (only 65 days away.....). So I have updated my painting schedule to the following:
- 53 Black Orcs (Infantry and Warmachine Crew)
- 1 Ogre Bully
- 8 Trolls
- 10 Boar Riders
- 1 BSB
- 2 Doom Divers
- 1 Rock Lobba
- 1 Boar Hero
- Gorbad Ironclaw's back banner
- 2 manglers!
Its a tall order but if I can focus and complete 5 infantry a night, 1 troll/boar a night, 1 warmachine a night and a mangler a night I should be fine. Just remember, sleep is for DA WEAK.
