This is the WIP diorama of my two hellhounds leaders, on the right is the noble chapter master/captain, and on the left is my chaos lord after he has fallen.
The Aquila on the loyalist banner pole has been replaced with a trophy rack, the shield that represents him 'defending' the imperium replaced by a chainaxe, the power fist by a mutated claw, and the detritus of fighting orks and khorne bezerkers around his feet replaced with the body of a noble marine, mutilated by the claw.
The chaos lord I did abut a year ago, basecoated and then dropped to paint some shiny new high elf dragons, but with my current space marine/chaos combo army I felt I should dig him out. And then I wanted to convert up a matching loyalist (whose base is not yet complete).
What do you think so far?
