As you are reading this, I should be going out on the track and spinning some tires. My last actual vintage karting race this season at a pretty cool track, in the corn state of Iowa of all places.
Weather forecast for Saturday is kind of iffy, so I'll have to be ready to go in case the schedule gets changed up. And in case the track picture above confuses you don't worry I know where I'm going. The one semi-circular corner is known as the "Toilet Bowl" and the other one goes down the hill out of the toilet bowl and then rises like 50 feet in elevation to the hairpin on the left of the photo. I had race incident there last year with someone brake checking me in the corner. Have to keep the nose clean this time around.
