Alright, so it's not 100% competitive for that matter, but i really like to just go with what i think is cool.

This is very different from what i have run earlier while playing dark eldar and it is very hybrid ish, but i really like getting up close and personal when it comes to WH40K while still having a fair deal of shooting power.

I've currently only tried it against a friend of mines World Eaters which are an all foot space marine with crazy many marines and we drawed in the end. Both of us played the mission and really had to fight for every point we wanted to earn.

Anyways, i digress.  The Real reason i wanted to post now, is because i have found a new project that i want to start!

Bitten By 30K!

Yeah, your eyes are right. I have found some interest in The Horus Heresy series by forgeworld, and i think it is a really nice series of books. The next book( Book II: Massacre) is to be released soon, and space wolves will probably not be until book 4(prospero) so i'll say about 1 1/2 - 2 years away at this pace.

Why on earth would i start a new army of highly priced resin models from the days that have passed long ago?

The simple answer for me is that it is really really really cool... No other reason to be honest. I really like the aesthetic of MrkII and MrkIII armour, so i'll be paddling deep into forgeworld territory in not too long, just waiting for a new spoonfull of cash to hit my wallet.

If you are fairly interested in the history of the imperium of man, then you should be able to recognise these Chapter symbols.

If not, well, The first one is Luna Wolves, and the Second one is Sons Of Horus.
The Plan is to make an army that is based in the time where Luna Wolves became The Sons Of Horus, so there will be some with the iconography of both and some will not have "re-painted" their armour to fit the new Chapter colours, so they'll be a little bit of this and that. They will of course look like one coherent force in the end.

I haven't started on the army list i will work towards, so i'm just gonna do like always and start out with what i think is cool, and work my way from there. Afterall, forgeworld do have a lot of tasty stuff :)

IF you're still reading, thanks in advance :)
