Unboxing Malifaux – Tara’s M2E ‘Herald of Obliteration’

Damn Tyrants...they never seem to do any of their own dirty work...


The 'Herald of Obliteration' box contains enough parts for six miniatures...namely Tara, her Totem and Enforcer Karina (5SS), The Nothing Beast (10SS) and three Void Wretches (4SS each). It also contains stat cards for each one and six upgrade cards, four of which are for Tara, one for Tara or The Nothing Beast and one for Karina.

This makes the Soulsstone value of the box...

Tara (0), Karina (5), The Nothing Beast (10), Void Wretch (4, 4, 4) Total (27) or (30) with a maximum Soulstone cache and (37) with maximum 'out of the box' upgrades.

The box has five sprues in it as well as the aforementioned cards and we'll look at each of these in turn...should there be any assembly issues with any of the models then they will be listed in the appropriate section and you can view larger versions of the smaller pictures by clicking on them.

The side part of the 'skirt' and the two upper parts of her cloak may need a little filing to get to fit correctly or you can use some equivalent of liquid green stuff to fill the gaps.

The legs are a bit spindly so take care when assembling. You may need to support the model in place while your gluing it to the bases so it doesn't fall over (they're not brilliantly balanced as you can see from the pictures below)
