Hiya! Wolf Lord Rune here with a short little update on the next big project of mine.
While waiting for my models to arrive by mail, i decided i'd dig into my bitz-box and whip up some green stuff while i was at it.
The results as i see it was pretty okay, though some beauty errors are to be found as i am still testing out and getting comfortable with painting with the colours. What i knew beforehand was that white was going to be quite the challenge, and so getting the models detailed enough for my own tastes would also prove a bit challenging.
Without further procrastination let's move on to the pictures!
The first picture was of a guy i made using some space wolves bitz and legs from kromlech!
One of the Praetorian running legs i believe. the quality btw was very nice :)
The picture isn't good, but i recall someone being curious as to how i would do the Luna Wolves Chapter symbol. This model was a test, but i was fairly pleased with how it turned out, a couple more shoulderplates and i should have it down properly.
The sons of horus shoulderpad was pretty neat and simple to paint, so i guess a little more practice and i'll be able to do it perfect ;)
I wanted to show you how i painted the backpack and also how nice the legs from kromlech really are!
No it's not and "ad", just saying if you have been thinking of buying these, i can vouch for them ;)
I like dreads, but this one was rather boring to look at, so i guess i need to add some white and other details to it.
I really enjoyed painting the rhino as i had never tried something like this before, and i think that wille be more or less the standard for me when painting my future legion vehicles, with some variations of course.
Rear shot of the Rhino! looks pretty neat from behind as well :)

(Conversion from justaerin termie, i really couldn't bother myself to pay 55£ for Rusty ol' Loken and Abaddon...).
After that, well, i was thinking Land Raiders And a Spartan Assault tank, maybe a Sicaran Battle Tank...
And lots, and lots, and lots more of MkII and MkIII marines with different kinds of wargear like Recon squads, support squads, seeker(sternguard) squads and maybe heavy weapons squads...
Also when Warmaster Horus comes out, i think i need to buy the model...
My poor, poor wallet...
