The Full On Assault Dreadball league has now finished (catch up on how it began HERE) and it was one hell of a ride. I started with only a passing interest in the game but after the first couple of weeks I was hooked!The final night started with my Veer-myn at the top of the table with only Tom's Forge Fathers able to beat me but it would be a tall order as the vertically challenged dwarfs would have to get landslide wins in their last two games and I would have to lose my last game. In the hope of a dramatic final round I requested that my final game be against the Forge Fathers and since we had not yet met in a league game this was readily accepted by the league organizer.
Sadly Tom suffered a defeat in his second to last game against a team of Teratons and the big mumma herself Dozer! So even though Tom managed to splat one of my rank 2 strikers it was little more than a formality as the rats one with yet another landslide victory and became league champions!

The teams clear MVP has been a level 5 striker who managed to get a skill increase after his first game and has gone on to score almost every single strike of the teams history with the aid of an offensive coach and coaching dice. Although this lone striker has gained plenty of exp (gaining really lucky and grizzled along the way) it has meant that the majority of my team are still rank one or two, something I will have to remedy if I continue to use them.
For my victory I was given a rather pretty medal but the question now is should I paint it or leave it as it is?
A great league run superbly by the infamous Hendybadger of ToaTS on Facebook. Im looking forward to the next one and wondering what team to use... maybe zees? Or Asterians look fun... I have always had a soft spot for Orx...
