Commission: Absolver Characters

I recently completed a small commission (okay, extremely late birthday present) for Dardreg Gargant. I painted up a few characters, trying to match his paint scheme. First up is a Librarian. Dardreg wanted metallic blue armor to match the rest of the army with their bronze armor.




I think he came out pretty well. I would have liked to make the armor a brighter blue, but my technique for painting it (washes over silver) produces darker, more muted colors.

Next up is this fellow, who will be multi-use as a variety of characters. With his current weaponry, he'll be a Chaplain, but his arms are magnetized for flexibility. I'm very happy with the bronze armor; I think it looks dark and battered without being flat. I also sculpted on his toga/tabard. It's the first one I've made, and I think it looks decent.
