Hobby thought: Vallejo paints and why you need to buy some

Morning!

Today's post will be short, sweet and a little bit torus shaped (possibly covered in icing too). I'm going to be briefly talking about Vallejo game and model colour paints.

If you're a fan of the old citadel paints, buy these little f***ers. No seriously, they are the old paints. I received an order for some paints as according to the paint chart on Dakka dakka (not going to link, google "Dakka dakka paint compatibility chart" - there, just ctrl+c, ctrl+v) Vallejo's heavy warmgrey = dheneb stone and YES IT DOES. YES IT DOES. Same with the other colours I got from my usual online store.

Heh, I don't think I've been so excited about paint before- when GW released it's new paints last year I wasn't too fussed. Sure their new reds are excellent, but P3, army painter and now (possibly and forever) Vallejo have offered better products. P3 pig iron especially, as that's the closest boltgun metal analogue I've found so far.
