The following post is quoted from The One Ring forum posted by Dave (Ukfreddybear) Fredericks.

"After the recent thread started about the hibernation of Majestic Bear Miniatures my new business partner and I were quite touched by the responses posted by the community in the thread. Who is it you may wonder?
Well I mentioned that a new business endeavour was on the horizon and feel that the time is right to make its introduction. Although the website is still under construction I give you the collaboration between myself of Majestic Bear Miniatures and Kev from The Dead Marshes:

Shadow and Flame will be carrying some, if not all of the Majestic Bear Miniatures sculpts once we have had a chance to sort out rebranding and of course restocking so for those of you who are still looking for that Beorn and Bear alternative don't worry the sculpts will become available again in due course. The site will not only offer the same services as MBM (minis, sculpting and converting) but will also carry the painting service currently offered by Kev at the Dead Marshes. After pairing up on several commissions already, it kind of made sense to put everything under one umbrella. Lots of big plans coming for 2014 with hopefully (commission work allowing) further scratch sculpts becoming available in keeping with the fantasy genre that you may (or may not) find some use for in your own Middle-earth.

I will keep you updated on the website construction as and when we have news from Dagorlad, who is the brains behind the web design and construction, and without whom the whole thing could not be possible.
Kev and I would like to thank everybody for the continued support both on here on the One Ring and on our respective websites, and of course Alan for helping turn our concepts into reality. Very exciting times ahead.

Thanks again

So its finally starting to happen.  I have to say that I'm thrilled to be going into business with Dave and am looking forward to what the future holds.   Thank you all for the continued support.  The Dead Marshes will stay live but I will use it only to display pieces from my own collection.  For the time being until Shadow & Flame goes live commission quotes can still be obtained via the miniature painting service here in the Marshes.
