Howdy folks, today I'm having a little review of my first impressions of the new IPad Mini for use with digital products from GW
So, recently I (finally) bought an IPad, and I chose to splash out on a new IPad Mini with Retina Display. I decided on a 32GB, WIFI version. When I received the box, I was slightly shocked by the size of it, doubting it would be large enough to read on.
As it turns out, the screen size is no issue at all, the text displayed clearly and at a reasonable size. The retina display helps, by making the contrast as crisp as possible, meaning reading is fairly easy on the eye
The first two books I purchased where Kill Team and Cypher (both are good purchases, I thou rashly advise them) and the layout of the digital editions make it easy to read. The hyperlinks (I bought the interactive editions) for special rules make it far quicker to look up those crucial rules, as a quick tap brings up a definition of the rules and any sub rules.
So overall, I believe the iPad Mini is perfect for digital cod exes, as it is small enough to carry, but incredibly clear to read on.
So what do all you folks think of it? Does it meet expectations?
A quick side note: Tesco (certainly in Scotland, not sure about other countries) is running a 20% of ITunes gift cards until the 12/1/14. This essentially means you can get 20% off all your codex purchases on iTunes!
