With the new Tyranids book coming out next week I thought I would dust off my old miniatures to show you guys. I am liking the look of some of the new models and will no doubt eventually add some to this small force in the future. In the meantime here are the Tyranid models I currently own that are painted. As you can see, I really like the big bugs.

The Swarmlord uses the Winged Hive Tyrant’s tail to make it look like he’s leaping up into the air.

This Broodlord is my favourite model in the army. Like some of my other Genestealers it was converted from a Space Hulk Genestealer. I replaced the Space Hulk wall piece with a tree made form greenstuff and small plastic branches.

For some reason I didn’t clean up the edges of the Raveners bases when I painted them so I will certainly get that remedied in due course.
