Vroom vroom indeed...

So after a quick run to the Homecrafters store after work, I was able to pick up White Spirits for my oil colors.. which then allows me to apply black, brown, and muddy red colors to the plane. Making it darker on the pieces and spots that I want it to be darker on. Obviously..

I like using Oils for the final touches of these things as it gives the mechanical parts a bit f a shine.. but also leaves the other colors a bit matte.. which is very cool.

Still believe that this plane could use more battle damage and more variation in colors on it.. but honestly for a gaming piece I think it works out well. Plus I have other projects to move on to, and the extra attention I put on the crew is enough for this plane. Though expect more of these in the future as this kit is awesome to build, and a lot of fun to paint up!

Still need to get my photo set up back to where it was in Turkey. The light situation here is a bit darker than I would like it to be... which is OK for this piece, but for others It makes them loose some focus and contrast.

Hope you like it. Now back to the remaining Scotsmen here on the table before I break into a larger project!
