So once again, I highly recommend the Secret Weapon washes. Speaking of which, I finished the video where I paint a night goblin using only the washes over a white primer coat. I'll feature it on a later blog post and include some stills and a nice big wall of text. In the meantime it's on Youtube here and Ron over at Eye of Error provided a lot of the ambiance for it from his other music site and may at some point be sharing it on his blog too.
