I love the Horus Heresy character series by Forgeworld and having painted up Loken and Abaddon a while back I have finally added to my collection by now painting up Erebus and Kor Phaeron. I will admit I didn’t enjoy painting these as much as Abaddon and Loken and I think the paintjob reflects that a little bit but they did give me a good chance to play around with my airbrush more, especially on the base which I am very happy with. I also airbrushed the basecoats for both models and painted the rest by regular brush. I tried to follow the colours on Forgeworld’s painted examples as much as possible, the biggest difference is I painted Erebus’s hands red.
