Since Black Library released a dataslate for the Chaos Daemon Prince Be’lakor last December I’ve wanted to get the model to paint up and try out in games. I managed to paint him fairly quickly using the airbrush. He was given a basecoat of Black and I used several greys and white to make a gradient of colour on his wings and skin. The skin was then given several glazes of Warpfiend Grey (GW Layer) to give it a purple hue.
Compared to other Daemon Prince models this model is slightly smaller as you may expect with such an old model. The rocky scenic 60mm base helps him seem a little larger on the battlefield.
