All 120 of them.
While Joel is my friend, I have to say that these are some of the best bases I've ever seen - and I have a whole Yu Jing Infinity team mounted on Micro Arts bases!
The detail and the designs are superb and the brick texture is spot on too.
But what makes them really great is that they're heavy (Joel said something about mixing metal shavings in with the resin) and have a textured grip underneath.
So your models, whether they're plastic or metal, just don't fall over at all.
And because of the grip underneath, they don't slide down hills or tumble of rocky terrain either.
My Necromunda Van Saar Gang are mounted on these.
I liked them so much, I wanted to base my entire Space Wolves army on them.
And they're so cheap. They're like, 70p each.
Why are some lighter? Well, Joel threw in some of the 'Masters' for me.
That way I can share some better photos with you guys so you can see the details for yourselves.
The masters are made of plain grey resin, so they're not heavy, but they do have the grips underneath.
So it will be interesting to see how well they do compared to the heavy bases while I'm playing a game.
Here's a shot of the underside of the bases.
Not exactly 'tyre tread', but they really do grip well and they get a little deeper in the middle.
Now I just need to pursuade Joel to make a Flyer sized base and a Knight sized base.
I should probably buy some bases for Thunderwolves and Bikes from him too to help 'persuade' him.
Believe it or not, these bases don't actually sell that well. Not compared to Anvil Industry's other products at least. So Joel was kind enough to do a special run for me.
Anyway, here's a video he made when he first came up with these bases back in 2011!
I think this explains why I like these bases so much and recommend you to get them for your models too.
Now to get back to building those Space Wolves...
